This site was created in June of 2010 by Potemkin Buster and Jenocide, who also continually update and maintain this website.

Potemkin Buster primary plays the Soldier. Jenocide primary plays as the Pyro. We are both members of the clan Associated.

It all started shortly after the drop system was implemented in Team Fortress 2. Potemkin had finally obtained a hat and wanted a picture of it. So, when he killed me… I hit F5 to save it.

Hat-less Jenocide was also provided with worthy action shots.

Eventually, we began posing for killcams by taunting after a kill.

Which lead to Potemkin using the glitch taunt.

Eventually, we found we were sharing killcams that weren’t just of us. Some were nice action shots.

Were cool looking…

And sometimes, just plain funny!

After a while of this, we started looking for other killcams people have shared. Most of the killcams we found were forum posts on various websites. We thought maybe we could improve upon that. We decided to create a blog website where anyone could submit pictures and we could post the ones we felt were best. We’d also make it possible to search for the players involved. Potemkin worked on the structure of the site and Jenocide, a Web Developer by trade, designed it. After a few weeks, TF2Killcams.com was born.

Since then, we have received an overwhelming amount of visitors to the site, with new submissions coming in every single day. New features to the site have been gradually rolled out, with more on the way.

Our goal is to make this website the best collection of Team Fortress 2 killcams on the internet. Rather than sifting through hundreds of different forum topics looking for that great killcam that your buddy took of you, submit it here! And if it’s good enough it will be posted and indexed, forever in the archives of this website.

So feel free to submit your best killcams, your TF2 name, and if you want, some text you would like to see in the caption of the killcam.
